Scouting Services rank top CGL athletes
After a highly successful
season, some of the best players in the Clark Griffith League are receiving
national recognition from scouting sources.
The national recognition that the League’s players receive can only help them on their journey to “The Show.” The Clark Griffith League has a reputation of being represented by several players in the MLB Draft each season. More than 250 former League players now play in the minor and major leagues.
Once again, Baseball America has compiled its Top Prospect lists for 18 different summer leagues, including the Clark Griffith League. PG Crosschecker has also ranked the top 10 players from the Clark Griffith League.
Among the Top 10 Prospects listed by both services are members of the two teams who participated in national tournaments this summer—the McLean Raiders and the Vienna Senators. Players from the second-place Fairfax Nationals and fourth-place DC Grays also made the cut in the Top 10 Prospects.
The Clark Griffith League is proud of the success of all players this season.
